Healthy for Family

If your family loves chocolate, you can buy some chocolate coated sunflower seeds which will satisfy the chocolate cravings while loading your family up on Vitamin E, B1, B5, magnesium, copper and phosphorus. You also can buy raw sunflower seeds, salted, unsalted or dry roasted. Dried fruit is another great thing to have on hand in the snack cupboard. Not only can you buy dried cherries but also dried bananas, apricots, peaches, apples and pineapple. Dried fruit can also be purchased quite cheaply online and you can make these dried fruits even more irresistible to your family by setting out dried fruit and nut baskets or bowls for your family to nibble on whenever they wish.
Many people enjoy making their own healthy cereals with dried fruit and nuts they purchase in bulk. Your family counts on you to provide them with healthy food and snacks so be proactive and promote healthy eating at home by offering healthy snacks instead of giving them empty calories and tons of sugar.

It is not enough just to wash hands though. Teach kids to wet their hands and then soap and scrub their hands while they sing Happy Birthday twice. Hand sanitizer can be an effective germ killer as well. It doesn't hurt to give your family vitamin supplements as well, especially extra Vitamin C. Sleep! If someone sneezes into their hand and then touches a doorknob or faucet, that surface is now covered with germs. Clean and sanitize the surfaces in your home on a regular basis, and daily if someone is sick. Stay Home! If you do get sick, stay home! If you practice these few tips you will have a healthier family.
