Enjoy on Long Weekend

The Metro station is nearby and provides a fast service to much of the town. Lille had its early beginnings in 1030 as a little town surrounding the castle of Buc. It suffered hostilities during the 13th and 14th centuries having been destroyed, rebuilt, besieged and retaken. We made an early visit to the tourist office by Gare Rihour for maps and services. Alternatively a one day travel pass costs 3.50 euros. A two hour guided tour of the Old City leaves at 2.30 PM on Saturdays.
The Palais des Beaux Arts is a short walk away. A large collection of 17th and 18th century ceramics from many European countries is housed in the basement. A further gallery is devoted to 19th century French sculpture. If the cafes are full then the restaurants will serve you coffee except at lunchtime.
We had to wait for the riverboat tour, which was included in our City pass and so visited the nearby zoo, admission was free. The Conservatoire de Lille by Rue Colos is opposite the Palais de Justice. It now displays work by Flemish, Dutch and French artists.
There are numerous restaurants offering food of every nationality. The excellent guide to restaurants, bars and discothèques is free from the tourist office. There are many places just a few short hours drive from all capital cities in Australia where you can enjoy a relaxing long weekend away, and if you want it all planned for you why not enjoy a tour around the Blue Mountains or a Phillip Island tour.
The Blue Mountains
The Blue Mountains are a short easy drive from the centre of Sydney and the region is popular with many tourists as well as people just wanting a short break from city life. There are plenty of places to stay offering luxury accommodation, including five star hotels and relaxing bed and breakfasts. Daylesford
Home of the day spa and natural mineral springs, visit the Hepburn Springs Spa and have a relaxing massage, a facial or enjoy the therapeutic benefits of the underground water. The town itself has many lovely shops, the Convent Gallery full of beautiful art works and visit The Lake House for a delicious gourmet meal made with fresh local produce.
Barossa Valley
The accommodation on offer includes luxury hotels, cosy bed and breakfasts and self contained cottages. Enjoy visiting some of the ninety wineries in the region, visit the historic townships with their gourmet food, shops and antiques, or take a walk through the surrounding state forest.
Margaret River
Bright
Located in central Victoria, Bright is the perfect place to visit and stay, and have access to the Victoria snowfields. Visit the wineries or go antique shopping, visit the brewery, or a deer or emu farm.

Brunch Party is an excellent idea to enjoy a long weekend. Brunch Parties are linked to having good sleeping hours.
You can plan very interesting dishes and drinks so that all your guests really enjoy every single bit of it. The Brunch Party would be really dry if it is without a drink. The drinks that you can serve at your Brunch Party can be Frosty Sours, Strawberry Daiquiris. Happy Brunch Partying.

"Long Weekend" is the tenth episode of Mad Men's first season, featuring the various activities that the Sterling-Cooper workers engage in during a small vacation from work. Prior to the weekend vacation, Betty Draper's father arrives in town with his new girlfriend.
The weekend plans around the office range from Joan Holloway and a recently-fired secretary going out on the town to find an 'actual bachelor' (in other words, not Roger Sterling who's a married man), and Roger making plans to hijack two twin models from an ad campaign for alcohol and debauchery.
Rachel and Don spend the night together.
